Hail, Caesar! (2016) is a mystery comedy film set in 1951 during the Golden Age of Hollywood, and it's about a fixer for a major Hollywood studio who investigates the kidnapping of a star actor during the filming of a biblical epic. When I first heard about this film, I didn't understand a lot of what was happening in it, but now that I have taken film studies at university, I have a better understanding of what was going on at the time, including the studio system and the rivalry between film and television. I hope to apply the knowledge I gained during this course by creating the Six Degrees of Hail, Caesar!, which include:

Look who's back, baby! It's me, Toby! While I was offline for a year, I was working on something very big, and in order to do this, I had to teach myself about both the inner and outer aspects of the film industry. By inner, I mean the world of the story, and by outer, I mean the cast and crew. I have been training long and hard, and today, all my hard work is about to pay off. I watched Dune: Part Two in theatres today, and it was epic. I call it Purple Core Media, which is a reference to   Astro Boy   (2009), a computer-animated futuristic science fiction superhero film that bombed so badly at the box office that it led to the dissolution of the studio that made it.
